Artist Statement

My work embraces spontaneity, experimentation, and colour to create layered abstract landscapes.

I like to connect experiences in the natural world with my painting process to translate mood, light and texture.

My inspiration for this piece comes from walks over rock formations and pools at the beach.

About The Artist

My background is in interior design, however I have always been inspired by pattern and graphic design and enjoyed various creative hobbies where I can create with my hands.

Painting for me is an escape where I can experiment and get lost in the process, responding as the marks, colours and patterns evolve in each piece until I’m happy with a final composition.
